The Matrix Jiu-Jitsu Invitational is a 5-man Submission Only Round Robin Tournament

Round robin style means that all competitors will fight all other competitors. The athlete with the best overall record will win the entire tournament. Matches will last 12 minutes and drawn matches will be decided by referee decision for an obvious victor. If the victor is not obvious, then the match will be decided by 1 round of Eddie Bravo Invitational (EBI) overtime. Competitors will take turns starting in the back mount position. If one athlete can submit the other without getting submitted themselves, then that athlete will win the match. If both athletes submit, then the winner will be decided by fastest submission time. If no one submits, then the winner will be decided via fastest escape time.

Illegal techniques: No slams on the head. Additionally, no eye gouging, fish hooks, hair pulling, groin shots, finger locks, or similar unsportsmanlike conduct.

Streaming and Videos will be available on the Mat-Tricks YouTube Channel

The overall winner of the tournament will receive a 400 euro cash prize.

Thanks to our sponsors, the winner will also win a support package from BJJ Fightgear and a 6 month free account on Yoga for BJJ
